EUROPEAN AUTHORS DAY 11.11-12.12.2025

For Bookstores

We warmly invite Booksellers to join the

#EuropeanAuthorsDay #ReadForReal celebrations. A #GoodBook is a #GoodGift, our vision is to create the opportunity and promote the idea of buying a book as a gift: we don’t become readers if we don’t have books at home!

Organize an author meeting in your bookshop during the period 11th November – 12th December to celebrate the European Authors Day, use visual identification to show that you are co-creating #EuropeanAuthorsDay #ReadForReal. Use the branding to show European books on your shelves and tables. You will find the action logo, poster and more in the downloadable materials.

Download and use

Download and use the shared materials, post on your social media around European Authors Day.

Find your hub

Creativity is the rule

Organize author meetings, but also creative writing or illustration workshops, or just “ordinary” read-alouds. It’s not always possible to invite an Author or Creator. Join in anyway. Think about the Author for next time! Use #EuropeanAuthorsDay #ReadForReal to invite customers into your bookshop during the end of year gift-buying season. Our ambition is to create a great international celebration together, which will translate into higher sales at the end of the year. We would be honoured if you decided to join us to achieve more together.

The invitation is open, anyone can join. Fill in the registration form at the bottom of this webpage.
